La Salle Student Housing Patio Makeover: Red Pots, Red Door & String Light Vibes

Today’s glow-up for our La Salle student housing patio: two fabulous evergreens just moved in. Yes, they’re fake. No, you can’t tell. They’re rocking bold red pots that instantly make the space pop.

Then I thought… why stop at the pots? In feng shui, a red door is all about luck, fame, and prosperity. I tossed the idea out there, and somehow it just happened. When I ask for something, the universe — or my husband — delivers.

Soon we’ll have string lights hanging over the patio, so it’ll look absolutely magical at twilight and into the night. Patio furniture’s coming next — the perfect setup for students who want more than just a bedroom. Of course, this is Philly… so here’s hoping it doesn’t “grow legs” before we get to enjoy it.
